Dr Perry is the third Malcolm O. Perry in a long history of doctors. His father was a renowned vascular surgeon who has impacted the world of medicine throughout his lifetime. Dr. Perry's great grandfather strikes a little closer to home for many residents in Collin County.

The first Malcolm O. Perry, was the only doctor in Allen, Texas, starting in 1905. He was the quintessential country doctor, who made horse and buggy house calls and delivered babies all over the region. Today, several patients of Dr. Malcolm O. Perry III were delivered by his great-grandfather. His selflessless  paved the way for the 2nd and 3rd doctors in the Perry family--graciously giving his time and gifts to serve those around him.

The 2nd Perry to enter into the field of medicine, selflessly gave his gifts until the day he passed away. His career began at Parkland Hospital in the 1960's, and he quickly rose to be the preeminent vascular surgeon in the country. From teaching hundreds of young doctors vascular surgery to taking the time to teach his grandchildren chess, Dr. Malcolm O. Perry II always acted with a humble heart. The accomplishments he has achieved and the impact he has made will never be forgotten.

Following in the footsteps of his great grandfather to practice medicine in Allen,  many patients travel hours to receive the thoughtful and compassionate care of Dr. Perry.  Dr. Perry strives to follow God's will and frequently and humbly is heard as saying, "God is the great physician, and He does all the healing." Dr. Perry often gives out his personal cell phone number to patients and answers calls at all times of the day and night. Dr. Perry will spend as much time as needed with each patient and many patients praise his insightful discussions without ever feeling rushed.

Dr. Malcolm O. Perry III was raised in Dallas, the son of Dr. Malcolm O. Perry II and Jeannine Perry. He graduated from Colorado College with a degree in Chemistry and attended Cornell University Medical School, graduating with honors. He completed his residency at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where he was Chief Resident and performed kidney transplants on the renowned transplant team. He has served on hospitals' Executive Committees, chaired the Credentials Committee and served as Chief of Surgery. Dr. Perry is married with two children, and has been in private practice for over 20 years. His first and foremost concern always lies with his patients. He currently practices in Allen, Texas just north of Watters Creek shopping. ​​
